Calling all teachers. Perth Zoo has created a special program for students in PP – Year 6 for this year’s National Science Week school theme, Seeds of Science – Nurturing knowledge for all.
- Enjoy a 90-minute guided session with one of our Zoo educators, to develop scientific ideas about supporting your local community by improving habitats
- Spend your remaining time self-guiding through the Zoo using our resources to further learning
- Connect Zoo-based learning to schoolgrounds, backyards and local environments
- Complete hands-on activities that encourage engagement and foster deeper understanding
Your day at the Zoo will be from 9:30am until 1:30pm and includes a 90-minute guided session though either the Asian Rainforest, African Savannah or Australian Bushwalk (area based on bookings). For the remainder of your day, we will provide self-guided activities to further your students’ learning.
