What is an Integrated Ecology Restoration Worker?

Are you passionate about nature and dreaming of a career where you can make a real difference? As an Integrated Ecology Restoration Worker, you’ll embark on an exciting journey to revive and revitalise our planet’s precious ecosystems. Picture yourself as a guardian of forests, wetlands, and coastlines, working tirelessly to restore their natural balance and beauty.

Your days will be filled with adventure and purpose. From planting native trees to monitoring wildlife populations, you’ll be hands-on in conservation projects that aim to heal the scars of human activity on the environment. Whether you’re trekking through lush rainforests or wading through marshlands, every step you take will be towards a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.

Pesticides, plastic pollution, and single crop farming have done a great deal of environmental harm over a relatively short period of time. Rewilders will work to reverse that harm using direct interventions by restoring habitats, repairing wilderness regions, and rebalancing ecosystems. It’s possible that Rewilders could work with de-extinction geneticists in an attempt to revive extinct species through cloning or genome editing.

Integrated Ecology Restoration Workers will have advanced qualifications in ecological sciences, giving them practical and theoretical knowledge of how organisms interact with their environments and vice versa.
