Become anInterventionist

Passionate about helping others? As an Interventionist, be the guiding light for those in need—offering support, empathy, and expertise to change lives, one intervention at a time!

What is an Interventionist?

Your journey begins with a deep seated desire to make a difference – to lend a helping hand to those in need, to provide solace to the distressed, and to empower individuals to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives.

Change is the only constant in the modern world, and with change comes discomfort. It is important that organisations, as well as society as a whole, can learn to address this discomfort in a positive, productive way. That is where interventionists come in. Interventionists help organisations and individuals to face new ideas in a rapidly changing world.

Interventionists may design and implement experiences that make people more compassionate or empathetic. They may also facilitate difficult conversations around ethics, philosophy and life. As an Interventionist you’ll need a background in psychology, high emotional intelligence and must be comfortable having difficult conversations.

The field offers endless opportunities for growth and development, allowing you to specialise in areas such as substance abuse counselling, mental health intervention, family therapy, or community outreach. You may choose to work in diverse settings, from hospitals and rehabilitation centres to schools, correctional facilities, or private practices.
