Using 3-D printing, Pharmaceutical Artisans will be able to quickly create custom medications for their patients based on genetic information, habits and medical history. With the ability to make life-saving medicine on demand, this will lower the cost of pharmaceuticals and allow for more innovation within the field of drug development. Rare diseases that have been previously ignored for drug research because of lack of profit, could finally find treatments or cures. It’s possible some Pharmaceutical Artisans may even be able to take patient’s stem cells to develop target treatments.
