This hands-on program invites students into the world of robotics to explore the first steps of this technology!
In this introductory robotics workshop, students will use EV3 Mindstorm robots to find out what makes a robot, how robots work and turn their robot into an autonomous vehicle by undertaking coding challenges and utilising the ultrasonic sensor.
This is a hands-on program; students will work in pairs or small groups using an EV3 Lego Mindstorm robot, so everyone will be close to the action. Students will be challenged in coding and testing robots while having fun.
Please note this session does not include a visit to the WA Museum Boola Bardips’ To the Moon temporary exhibition. If you would like to take part in the ‘Introducing Robotics: ‘To the Moon’ facilitated program, please click here.
