Perth City Founders Walk

Get your steps in while making real business connections on May 8, August 7 and October 30 – 2026.

Perth City Founders Walk brings together start-ups, scale-ups, entrepreneurs and business owners for a relaxed, high-value networking walk through the Perth CBD. Meet at the ground-level café at Quay Perth Hotel at 2:45pm, pop your name down, and get chatting. Departure is at 3:00pm sharp for a 60-minute walk around the city — meaningful conversations while you move.

A $20 participation fee applies per walk, which includes your place in the 60-minute net-walk and a post-walk beverage at the rooftop bar at Quay Perth Hotel — giving you the option to continue conversations in a relaxed setting after the walk concludes.

Several Founders Walks have occurred, and the outcomes have been strong. Entrepreneurs, innovators and business owners have used the format to generate new sales conversations, explore collaboration projects, access new networks, test ideas in real time, and validate concepts with experienced operators. Walking side-by-side accelerates trust and removes the friction that often slows traditional first meetings.

Each walk also carries a unique lens.

8th of May will include guests from that day’s recording of the PropTech Radio Show Perth, bringing fresh industry insight straight into the conversation.

7th of August features a tech entrepreneur James Hay, sharing insights on raising tech investment, sharing the real highs and lows of scaling.

30th of October will include a stop in at Cygnet West to meet the marketing and tech team behind Western Australia’s largest independent property management operation — gaining practical perspective from inside a major market leader.

If you’re serious about building — and want to combine movement, momentum and meaningful conversations — secure your spot. The group is intentionally kept focused and high quality, and once registrations close for each date, they close. Take the step, lock in your ticket, and be in the room — or on the walk — with people who are actively moving forward.
